Hi everyone,

I figured it was about time I started a blog since it seems like everyone else has and I often think of great ideas that I should share, but never do.  Not sure how often I’ll post or what the contents will be, but it’s a start.

I do plan on a weekly feature on Wednesdays – what feature might this be you ask?  Well I guess you’ll need to wait until tomorrow to find out!

I did think it was appropriate to start a blog today – Veterans day. (The 4th of July or Memorial Day would have worked too)  We have the freedoms that we have today thanks only to the unselfish service of the thousands upon thousands of Veterans who gave of themselves — some in part, some in all.  It is because of these people that I can sit here today, share my thoughts with the world – whatever those thoughts may be without fear of being censored or anything.

My heartfelt thanks goes out to each and everyone of them for what they have done — or do on a daily basis so that I might continue to enjoy the great freedoms I have in this wonderful country of ours.

Next time you see a Vet — make sure you thank them – they deserve so much more, but for most a good “Thank You” goes a long way to make them feel appreciated.

   I am glad you will have a journal, but you still have to call at times, too! Many times we take things for granted and don’t realize what others have done so we can do what we do. Great introduction.
