Yesterday at work my coworker asked me a question – and I answered it.  In response she asked me how I could remember the information I told her.  I sure don’t know how my mind remembers so much information about database tables, programs, how things work, etc.  I do amaze myself at times with all the information that my brain spits out when I need it.  It would be interesting to somehow know how much data my brain contains in computer terms.

On the other hand – it is interesting at what my brain has problems with.  Namely it’s names.  I have the hardest time remembering names.  Both of people that I’ve just met or those I’ve known for years – at times I cannot think of the name at all.

Just an interesting contrast of how well my brain will retain some information while having problems with others.

  1. Like Mother, Like son! I can come up with answers to the strangest questions and all different types of information, but I, too, have problems with remembering names.
